Most of these reach us by email from practice managers comparing suppliers. Here is how we actually handle them.

How do I get a written quote instead of ordering blind?

Send your item list to info@yakmedical.com, including sizes and quantities where they matter. We check stock, confirm compatible fittings, and reply with a written quote. Nothing is dispatched until you approve it.

Which areas do you deliver to, and how fast?

Orders ship from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal usually receive same-week delivery. Outside those provinces, timelines depend on the courier route and are confirmed with the quote.

Can we set up a repeat order for consumables?

Yes. Gloves, syringes, gauze and IV lines are the usual candidates for a monthly standing order. You fix the list and the schedule, and we ship the same items without you re-sending the order each month. The list can be edited at any time.

What if I am unsure about sizes or compatible accessories?

That is a normal part of the process, especially with mobility aids, reception furniture and diagnostic instruments. Tell us the room or the existing equipment and we will match sizes, fittings and accessories before anything is quoted.

Do you supply both equipment and everyday consumables?

Both. The catalogue runs from examination room basics and diagnostic instruments through wound care, PPE, sterilisation pouches and mobility aids to reception furniture. One order can cover a new consulting room and the restock that follows it.

How does bulk ordering work for gloves and syringes?

Bulk pricing applies when items are ordered by the case rather than the box. Mixed glove sizes can be combined in one order, and substitutions such as latex or a different glove thickness are confirmed before the quote is finalised.
